Check out Dave Grohl’s recommendations on what music to rock out to during the COVID-19 quarantine

Folks across the world are on self-quarantine, and Dave Grohl is no exception. The Foo Fighters frontman and former Nirvana drummer is stuck at home, and to pass the time, he’s listening to some of his favorite jams.

Now, in a new story for The Atlantic, Grohl offered his picks for songs to accompany the 10 steps of isolation, starting with “Preparation featuring “Let’s Go” by the Cars and ending with “Hope” with “Here Comes the Sun” by the Beatles for “Hope.”

The rest of Grohl’s picks encompass everything from classic rock to folk to soul, including “Ahmad’s Waltz” by Ahmad Jamal for “Productivity,” “Our House” by Madness for “Nesting,” “Drunk Girls” by LCD Soundsystem for “Nesting,” “School’s Out” by Alice Cooper for “Online Learning,” “Bullet with Butterfly Wings” by The Smashing Pumpkins for “Claustrophobia” and “Crazy” by Patsy Cline for “Insanity.”

Not only is Grohl making playlists these days, but he also recently opened up an Instagram account under @DavesTrueStories, which he kicked off in hope to “make people smile” during the coronavirus crisis. Some of the stories he’s shared include his memories from jamming with Prince, an attempt to hit up “Dimebag” Darrell’s strip club and a little fireworks accident.
