Nickelback Goes Acoustic for At-Home Version of ‘How You Remind Me’
Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger and guitarist Ryan Peake took to social media to post an unplugged, at-home performance of their hit, “How You Remind Me”
“How You Remind Me” is the Nickelback song that started everything for the guys back in the early 2000s. It’s a melodic rocker that begs to be played unplugged, and now, Chad Kroeger has brought the tune back out to help encourage fans to stay home during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Kroeger and guitarist Ryan Peake performed together — from their perspective homes, because of the stay-at-home orders — for an unplugged, quarantined version of the longstanding Nickelback song “How You Remind Me.” View the full performance via YouTube below.
“Felt good to play some tunes together,” Nickelback said on their official Twitter page. “Even though we couldn’t jam together, the music made the distance seem a little less further apart.”
In other news, Nickelback’s previously announced summer 2020 North American headlining tour in honor of the 15th anniversary of the group’s “All The Right Reasons” album has been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Stone Temple Pilots were also scheduled to be on that tour. Find details on Nickelback’s canceled tour and how to get a ticket refund on their website.
