Sting Announces New Album, ‘Duets’
Sting will release a new album called “Duets,” featuring a range of his collaborations on Nov. 27
Seventeen-time Grammy Award winner Sting will release a new album, called “Duets,” on Nov. 27. As the title implies, the album is packed with duets, featuring Sting sharing the mic with musicians spanning the genres.
“Duets” will feature a handful of Sting’s previously-recorded collaborations with Mary J. Blige, Herbie Hancock, Eric Clapton, Annie Lennox, Charles Aznavour, Mylène Farmer, Shaggy, Melody Gardot, Gashi and more. The album also features a new song, called “September, featuring with Italy’s Zucchero, which was produced by Sting and mixed by four-time Grammy Award winner Robert Orton. Guénaël “GG” Geay and Martin Kierszenbaum executive produced and A&R’d “Duets,” and Gene Grimaldi mastered the album at Oasis Mastering in Los Angeles.
In addition to the digital and CD releasing hitting stores on Nov. 27, a vinyl LP edition of “Duets” also be available on Dec. 18. Pre-orders are available here.
