The 2021 Operation Monster Beach will bring a collection of rock and metal performers to two private resorts in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic

The traditional Monsters of Rock Cruise is off for 2021 due to restrictions and safety concerns surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, but a new event will take its place. Operation Monster Beach will offer a music festival and vacation destination, with a plethora of rock and metal acts performing on land.

Operation Monster Beach will be headlined by shock-rocker Alice Cooper and happen from May 26 to May 31, 2021, at two private resorts in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic: Breathless Punta Cana Resort & Spa and Now Onyx Punta Cana.

Cooper was slated to be part of the 2021 Monsters of Rock Cruise, so it’s a natural fit that he would headline Operation Monster Beach. Other performers will include Great White, Winger, Kix, current Whitesnake guitarist Joel Hoekstra, Pat Travers, Lit, Vixen, Bullet Boys, Faster Pussycat, John Corabi and more.

The acts will rock different stages on the beach and by the pools. Some indoor venues will also host talent at the resorts.

Operation Monster Beach also promises Q&A sessions, cooking and painting demonstrations, a “Gong Show” karaoke contest, a “So You Think You Can Shred” challenge, beach volleyball and more.

Packages for Operation Monster Beach are available now. Suites begin at $1,999 per person, double occupancy. For those who want to stay longer, pre- and post-event packages also available.
