Ozzy Osbourne is now officially a member of the WWE Hall of Fame

Ozzy Osbourne has already been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and now, Osbourne has even more Hall of Fame bragging rights. The metal icon has officially been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony aired Tuesday night (April 6) and showed a video of Osbourne receiving the award.

“Thank you so much WWE for this amazing award,” Ozzy said in his video message. “I don’t deserve it, but thanks anyway.” He continued, “It’s all about the fans, really. Our fans keep us alive, man. It’s all about them.”

Osbourne’s inducted isn’t a hug surprise, and he’s been involved with WWE for years. In the past, Osbourne has served as a WWE performer and host, as well as a team manager. A handful of WWE stars have also been involved with Ozzfest. Another clue: Osbourne took part in a commercial for the 2021 Hall of Fame that aired on SmackDown.

Osbourne joined the WWE Hall of Fame with a slew of other 2020 and 2021 WWE Hall of Fame inductees, including The Bella Twins, Davey Boy Smith, JBL, Jushin Liger, The nWo, William Shatner, Warrior Award winner Titus O’Neil, Molly Holly, Eric Bischoff, Rob Van Dam, Kane and The Great Khali.

Osbourne was officially inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Black Sabbath in 2006.

In other news, Osbourne is currently working on a new album, which will mark his follow-up to 2020’s “Ordinary Man.” Special guests on the upcoming album reportedly include Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Robert Trujillo of Metallica and Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters.
