Sepultura Announce 2022 North American Tour with Sacred Reich, Crowbar and Art of Shock
Sepultura will travel from Brazil to North America in early 2022 for a cross-country tour
Brazilian metal titans Sepultura are usually regulars touring North America, but they were unable to make it here in 2020 due to the ongoing pandemic. Now, that’s all changing, as the group has announced a month-long North American tour for spring 2022.
The tour – which is in support of Sepultura’s 2020 studio album, “Quadra” – will begin March 4th in Sacramento, California, and run through an April 8th date in Berkeley, California. Sacred Reich, Crowbar and Art of Shock will open on the full run.
“We can’t wait to go back onstage,” guitarist Andreas Kisser said in a statement. “We are very happy to announce our North American tour for 2022. We will see you all on the road, jamming old stuff new stuff and having the greatest time of our lives. See you all soon stay safe!”
“We are extremely excited to reconnect with everyone in North America for this upcoming tour,” singer Derrick Green added. “We look forward to seeing all the people who have been anxious to see shows for the past two years. We will celebrate this re-connection of life and music together. See you soon!!”
General admission and VIP tickets are on sale via Sepultura’s website. View the full tour itinerary below.
In other news, Sepultura will release a new album, “Sepulquarta,” on Aug. 13. The set will feature recordings from the band’s weekly SepulQuarta video podcast series, which saw the guys performing alongside Scott Ian, Devin Townsend and a range of other special musical guests.
