Mammoth WVH, Featuring Wolfgang Van Halen, and Dirty Honey Uniting for 2022 Tour
Wolfgang Van Halen’s solo band, Mammoth WVH, is teaming with Dirty Honey for a 2022 North American trek
Mammoth WVH, the band spearheaded by Wolfgang Van Halen, is joining forces with Dirty Honey for a co-headlining winter 2022 North American tour. The two groups will embark on the tour starting in late January and taking them through 29 cities.
It’s been a busy year for both bands. Mammoth WVH toured extensively in 2021 opening for Guns N’ Roses, while Dirty Honey provided support on the Black Crowes’ summer reunion tour. The upcoming trek, dubbed the “Young Guns Tour,” will set off Jan. 21 in Chicago, Illinois, and run through a March 5 stop in Indio, California.
“We played one co-headline show with Dirty Honey back in September,” Wolfgang Van Halen said in a statement. “As soon as the night was over, we knew this would be a great package to take across the US. We couldn’t be more excited to share the stage with them and give all of the fans an unforgettable night of rock music.”
Dirty Honey vocalist Marc LaBelle added, “People who come to our shows are going to see two bands who are looking to prove that rock ‘n’ roll is definitely very much alive and well. We both carry the weight of that on our shoulders, and there’s a lot to prove.”
This is a co-headlining trek of sorts, as the two groups alternate the closing spots on the run. Both Mammoth WVH and Dirty Honey are touring in support of their self-titled debut albums, each released in 2021.
Tickets for the tour are on sale now via Ticketmaster. View the full roster of dates for the “Young Guns Tour” below, as well as our recent podcast interview with Wolfgang Van Halen.
