Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Dua Lipa and Halsey to Headline 2022 Firefly Festival
The 2022 Firefly Festival will bring a mix of rock, alternative, pop and hip-hop acts to Delaware
Remember when My Chemical Romance called it a day, and nobody thought they would ever do a show together again? Well, of course, there is no retirement in the world of rock ‘n’ roll, and now, the guys are back and in full swing.
My Chemical Romance and Green Day will headline the 2022 Firefly Festival, headlining the four-day festival, set for Sept. 22 through Sept. 25 at The Woodlands in Dover, Delaware.
In addition to the rock acts, pop performers Halsey and Dua Lipa will headline the remaining two nights of the festival. Even though Halsey is a pop act, they dabbled into the rock world with their latest release “If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power,” which was co-produced and co-written by Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor last year.
Other rock-influenced acts slated to appear at Firefly include Weezer, All Time Low, Manchester Orchestra, Cold War Kids, Mannequin Pussy and Avril Lavigne (who recently made her way back to pop punk). The rest of the acts lean heavy on the pop and hip-hop, including Big Sean, Bleachers, Charli XCX, Chloe Moriondo, Daisy the Great, Ezra Furman, Indigo De Souza, Lucii, Princess Nokia, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Willow, Wolf Alice, Yung Bae and YUNGBLUD, among many more.
Pre-sale tickets for Firefly Festival will go on sale starting on Feb. 25 at 10 a.m. ET for guests who register. General public on-sale tickets will be available starting on Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. ET. For addition information, head to the Firefly Festival website.
