Slipknot, KISS, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nine Inch Nails to Headline 2022 Louder than Life
The 2022 Louder than Life festival lineup is here, bringing four days of rock and metal music to Louisville, Kentucky
Organizers have announced the official lineup for the 2022 Louder Than Life festival, a show that’s being dubbed its “biggest year yet.” The lineup lives up to those big expectations, too, as the four-day event will features headliners Nine Inch Nails, Slipknot, KISS, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, as well as plenty of other major names in the rock and metal world.
The annual music festivals is set for Sept. 22 through 25 at the Highland Festival Grounds At KY Expo Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Tickets are now available via the even’s website, including single-day, three-day general admission and VIP passes.
To kick off the festivals on Thursday (Sept. 22), Nine Inch Nails will headline the night along with performances from Bring Me the Horizon, Evanescence, Halestorm, Tenacious D, Yungblud, Highly Suspect, Ministry, Nothing More, Baroness, Spiritbox, Apocalyptica, Dorothy and more. Friday (Sept. 23) feature Slipknot headlining, along with Shinedown, Lamb of God, Mastodon, In This Moment, Meshuggah, Clutch, Jinjer, GWAR, In Flames, Helmet, Amigo the Devil, Vended and more.
Saturday (Sept. 24), KISS will close out the show, with additional acts including Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper, Chevelle, Ghostemane, Jerry Cantrell, Dance Gavin Dance, Theory of a Deadman, Body Count, Sevendust, Mammoth WVH, We Came As Romans, Airbourne, Nita Strauss and more. Finally, on Sunday (Sept. 25), the Red Hot Chili Peppers will close out the festivals, with other performers including Alice In Chains, Incubus, Papa Roach, The Pretty Reckless, Architects, Bad Religion, Action Bronson, The Struts, Dirty Honey and more.
“This is how you do festivals right,” Slipknot percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan said in a statement. “Four days of incredible music with so many talented artists. Slipknot is excited to share the stage with Nine Inch Nails, KISS and so many more. Stay safe, and we’ll see you in Louisville.”
On top of the music, expect a wide array of whiskey, as the festival calls itself the “World’s Largest Rock N’ Roll Whiskey Festival.” It will also offer bourbons, spirits, craft beer and food. For more information, visit the Louder than Life festival website here.
