Atlanta, Georgia, metal band Sevendust will release a new album, “Truth Killer,” on July 28

Sevendust have been toiling away on a new album, and now, the moment is here. The Atlanta, Georgia metal band will release their 14th studio album, “Truth Killer,” on July 28. In addition, the band shared the news Wednesday (April 12), along with a new single called “Fence.”

“Truth Killer” brings together Sevendust band members frontman Lajon Witherspoon, guitarist Clint Lowery, guitarist John Connolly, bass player Vince Hornsby and drummer Morgan Rose. Once again, they’re working with longtime producer and personal friend Michael “Elvis” Baskette. The new album is available for pre-order here in a variety of configurations.

As a taste of what’s to come off the new record, Sevendust have released the album’s debut single, “Fence.” Furthermore, they’ve unveiled a clay-mation music video for the song, directed and animated by Ollie Jones.

“Truth Killer” will follow-up the band’s 2020 studio album, “Blood & Stone.” That record received a lot of attention for Sevendust’s cover of the Soundgarden classic, “The Day I Tried To Live.”

Moreover, Sevendust will take new tunes off “Truth Killer” on the road with a handful of live shows. View the band’s full roster of upcoming tour dates below.
