Three Days Grace and Adam Gontier Reunite
Watch Three Days Grace and Adam Gontier reunite onstage in Huntsville, Alabama
They said it would never happen, but it did. Former Three Days Grace singer Adam Gontier reunited with the band onstage in Huntsville, Alabama, last week. The two camps performed two songs from Three Days Grace’s 2006 album, “One-X.”
Gontier and There Days Grace haven’t performed together since 2013. The frontman left the group in 2013 and went on to front modern rock band Saint Asonia. Earlier this month, Gontier also started a new project called Diviidedby.
Three Days Grace and Gontier picked some choice songs to perform. Let’s call them fan-favorites. During the Huntsville performance, Gontier shocked the audience by getting up on the stage to play “Riot” and “Never Too Late.” Those marked the final two songs of the set. Three Days Grace are currently serving as support on Shinedown’s headlining run. In Huntsville, they were at the Probst Arena at the Von Braun Center.
“Soooo we did a thing,” Three Days Grace wrote on Instagram to announce the news, along with a photo of the band with Gontier.
Does this mean the guys could reunite for good? We’re not sure. But, it’s something fans have wanted since Gontier left the band. Of course, it’s worth noting that Three Days Grace have continued to score No. 1 rock hits with new vocalist Matt Walst. For now, enjoy the moment and watch fan-filmed footage of the reunion below.
Three Days Grace have a fairly busy year up ahead. The band will continue on tour to promote 2022’s “Explosions” with Shinedown and From Ashes to New this spring. As for Gontier’s band, Saint Asonia recently wrapped up a North American tour with Theory of a Deadman and Skillet. Moreover, Saint Asonia also have more tour dates ahead in support of their 2022 release, the “Extrovert EP.”
