Guns N’ Roses’ new song, “Perhaps,” is available for streaming, download and to watch on YouTube

Talk about a dramatic way to roll out a new single. Last weekend, Guns N’ Roses’ new single, “Perhaps,” reportedly leaked to bar jokeboxes via the TouchTunes app. As soon as the band got wind of the leak, they (or their label) pulled the track, so eager fans couldn’t find it anymore. Then, on Thursday (Aug. 17), the band released the new song via radio stations across the country. But, fans couldn’t stream or download the song online, so fans were once again left scratching their heads, trying to get their ears on it. Now, Guns N’ Roses’ new single, “Perhaps,” is finally here.

On Friday (Aug. 18), Guns N’ Roses officially released the new song, as well as an accompanying music video. The song is actually their first new composition that marks band members writing and recording together since 1993’s “The Spaghetti Incident?”

In addition to the digital version of the song being available, a seven-inch vinyl version will also be released on Oct. 23. That will come paired with another new song, “The General,” as its B-side. To pre-order the vinyl version of “Perhaps,” go here.

Even though this studio recording of “Perhaps” is very new, the song itself is not brand new. Guns N’ Roses reportedly performed the song during a soundcheck in Israel earlier this year. There has also been a demo version of the song out there for years. But, it’s new to fans and fairly new to the band.

Guns N’ Roses’ current band lineup features Axl Rose (vocals, keyboards), Duff McKagan (bass), Slash (lead guitar), Dizzy Reed (keyboard), Richard Fortus (rhythm guitar), Frank Ferrer (drums) and Melissa Reese (keyboard). The band is out on their 2023 global tour, performing at major venues across the U.S. and Canada. The tour wraps up with an Oct. 16 date in Vancouver, BC at BC Place. The reunited Guns N’ Roses bill has been hugely successful. The band’s reunion tour, called their Not In This Lifetime… Tour, ranked as the fourth-highest grossing concert tour of all time, selling 5 million-plus tickets.
