Show Blog: Thanks to guests Anthony Armstrong of RED and J-Dog of HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD

Big thanks to all our awesome guests from this past week: Anthony Armstorong from Nashville new rock rock band RED and J-Dog from Los Angeles rap-metal outfit Hollywood Undead!

Both bands have a lot going on right now:

RED just dropped their third full-length, Until We Have Faces, on Feb. 2. The album hit No. 1 on the iTunes rock chart, and it’s projected to debut No. 1 on Billboard 200 next week! (Fingers-crossed, of course.) Perfect for the playlist. RED is also on Conan Tuesday, 2/8, on TBS at 11/10c. Hollywood Undead is on tour with Stone Sour and Avenged Sevenfold, and the band releases its sophomore disc, American Tragedy, on March 15.

If you missed it, big show announce this week: Rock on the Range 2011, with… A Perfect Circle! My immediate response? OMg, OMg. I actually had just been thinking that getting Maynard and A Perfect Circle to play the fest would be legendary… and then, they did it. Read more about the fest in the news section. Seriously, much love Rock on the Range.

On tap: We’ll talk with As I Lay Dying guitarist Nick Hipe about what’s new with the band, what it’s like to play Ozzfest and what’s more important to the band than anything else. Plus, a chat with Papa Roach guitarist Jerry Horton. Also, we have some sweet giveaways in the works… lots of autographed stuff ; )

Don’t forget to check out Audio Ink Radio on Facebook, k? We’ll keep you posted with the latest news and random tid-bits. Thanks, and take care!

xoxo,
Anne Ashley
