Pearl Jam gave fan club members the gift of music for Christmas
Pearl Jam fans got a major Christmas gift this year, as the Eddie Vedder-fronted grunge rock band presented members of their Ten Club fan club with the gift of music. The group released two fresh live songs on Christmas day: “In the Moonlight,” a b-side off their “Binaural” album, featuring Queens of the Stone Age singer and guitarist Josh Homme and “All Night” featuring Joseph Arthur, Liam Finn and Glen Hansard. Take a listen to “In the Moonlight” below.
Both songs were recorded at the band’s 20th anniversary festival, the Pearl Jam 20 Music Festival, which took place in 2011 in East Troy, Wis.
In other Pearl Jam news, bass player Jeff Ament recently stated that the band would likely start work on their upcoming full-length release in March. The new album will be the follow-up to Pearl Jam’s 2009 studio release, “Backspacer.” Ament is also busy with his side project, RNDM, and he recently released a new album with the group called “Acts.”
