Daft Punk’s new album will feature a variety of guest artists
French electronic duo Daft Punk are coming up on the release of a new album, and they’ve enlisted a long line of experienced musicians to help with the set. Among the artists slated to appear on the album are Chic’s Nile Rodgers, Academy Award-winning songwriter Paul Williams and Italian dance-music producer Giorgio Moroder.
Daft Punk announced the long list of collaborators on their upcoming album in a video they screened at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival last weekend in Indio, Calif. The duo has also been posting a collection of videos showing behind-the-scenes footage of recording sessions for “Random Access Memories” on YouTube. Check out the videos here.
“Random Access Memories” is on target to arrive in stores and online on May 21. For more on Daft Punk, head to the duo’s official website.
