The Lumineers are paying tribute to legendary ‘80s new wave band Talking Heads on the new, deluxe version of their self-titled debut album. The group recorded a cover version of Talking Heads’ “This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody)” for the new release, and the band has posted a stream of the song up on their Soundcloud page.
The deluxe edition of the album, which is out today (Aug. 20), also offers the tracks “Darlene,” “Ain’t Nobody’s Problem,” “Elouise” and a live rendition of “Slow It Down.” The collection also comes with a 28-page booklet of photos and a DVD packed with live concert footage, behind-the-scenes clips and interviews with band members.
The Lumineers are currently touring in Europe and will be back in the U.S. on Sept. 14 to play back-to-back shows at Red Rocks in Colorado. The alternative folk group has more North American tour dates booked through the end of October, followed by a handful of overseas dates.
