Listen to ‘Coming Crashing,’ the new tune from Los Angeles’ Failure

Los Angeles’ Failure have just unleashed the band’s first new song in 18 years via Bandcamp. The tune, called “Come Crashing,” features the alternative rock trio’s beloved thick distortion, layered guitar feedback and moody textures.

Failure’s 1996 album, “Fantastic Planet,” was also the band’s last release before the band disbanded in 1997. Now, the band has regrouped for not only a North American tour, but also a new EP. The “Tree of Stars” EP, a tour EP, includes “Come Crashing,” plus live recordings of “Let It Drip,” “Frogs,” Sergeant Politeness” and “Heliotropic.”

Earlier this year, Failure was reintroduced to the music world with a tour with former touring partners Tool, as well as a performance at Tool and A Perfect Circle frontman Maynard James Keenan’s 50th birthday at Cinquanta.
