Metallers Texas in July will hit the road this fall in support of ‘Bloodwork’

Pennsylvania-based Christian metal outfit Texas in July are gearing up for the release of their latest full-length album, “Bloodwork,” and the group has just confirmed a tour in support of the album with fellow heavy-hitters After the Burial, I Declare War, Reflections, Come The Dawn. The trek will set off on Sept. 13 in Moorhead, Minn., and run through an Oct. 9 stop in Milwaukee. Tickets for the jaunt are on sale now via Soundrink.com.

“Bloodwork” will arrive on Sept. 16 via Equal Vision Records. It’s the band’s first album to feature new singer JT Cavey alongside longstanding members Chris Davis (guitar), Adam Gray (drums) and Ben Witkowski (bass).

“I think this album shows us at our most extremes,” guitarist Chris Davis said in a statement. “It has some of our heaviest and most aggressive moments to date and also our most melodic and mellow sections as well. It was all about pushing ourselves to extend our boundaries.”

Texas in July are currently touring Europe with IWRESTLEDABEARONCE.
