Courtney Love is working on her new memoir, but she’s hitting a few roadblocks

Courtney Love has been busy working on her autobiography, and she’s giving a bit more insight into what exactly the memoir will cover. The book, named “The Girl with the Most Cake,” will look at Love’s life until 2006, since after that year, Love tried to keep her life personal.

“It has to stop,” love told Paper magazine regarding the 2006 end date. “What happens from 2006 on in the book is my personal business. I’ve been discreet from that time on, and I want to keep it that way.”

While Love has a good handle on what her memoir will cover, she’s still very much in the working phase. “It’s a disaster,” Love told the publication. “A nightmare.” She added that her co-writer for the book is “just not working,” which isn’t making the process any easier. “I never wanted to write a book in my entire life,” she added. “It just sort of happened.”

Love is also working on a new biopic about her late husband, Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. She expects production on the film to begin in the next 12 months.

MSU media relations manager Jason Cody said the shooting incident “definitely played a role” in the events cancelation.

“Members of several MSU groups got together and reviewed the recent incidents at the previous concert and came to the decision we were going to cancel it and offer full refunds,” Cody said. “Really, what it came down to was the safety and security of the visitors that were going to attend the concert.”
