The 2015 Global Citizen Festival hit New York City’s Central Park last Saturday (Sept. 26), and the even was filled with A-list performers. Pearl Jam, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Beyonce, Tori Kelly, Sting and Common all graced the crowd of 60,000 with their music, and the sets included all the usual songs as well as some collaborations.

At the show, Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder shared the stage with Beyonce for a cover of Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song.” Meanwhile, Coldplay’s Chris Martin performed with Ed Sheeran on the Sheeran song “Thinking Out Loud.” Martin had another surprise duet that night, this time with Ariana Grande on Grande’s song “Just a Little Bit of Your Heart.”

Stephen Colbert hosted the event, which happened in conjunction with the 70th annual United Nations General Assembly. The assembly had leaders from 13 countries gathering behind the U.N.’s Global Goals to end extreme poverty by 2030.

U2’s Bono made an appearance at the Global Citizen Festival, telling the audience, “To end poverty, inequality and fix climate change…impossible, right? Wrong. It is always impossible until it is done.”
