Ten Commandos is a new supergroup featuring members of Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and Queens of the Stone Age

Meet Ten Commandos, a new hard-rock group boasting Soundgarden and Pearl Jam drummer Matt Cameron, Soundgarden bass player Ben Shepherd, Queens of the Stone Age collaborator Alain Johannes and singer Dimitri Coats of Off! The band has unleashed its debut single, “Staring Down the Dust,” which features former Screaming Trees frontman Mark Lanegan on vocals. The track is available now via iTunes.

“Staring Down the Dust” will appear on Ten Commandos’ self-titled debut album, which will drop in November via Pearl Jam’s Monkeywrench Records. Peter Frampton even makes an appearance on the set, playing guitar on the song “Sketch 9.” The album is currently available for pre-order via PearlJam.com.

Cameron and Johannes formed Ten Commandos back in 2008. With Shepherd, the guys wrote much of the upcoming debut album in 2008. With band members’ schedules so busy, the band didn’t have time to hit the studio until 2014. That’s when Coats was brought into the fold.

“War on the Peace”
“Outermost Sky”
“Come” (featuring Nikka Costa)
“You Might Forget”
“Sketch 9” (featuring Peter Frampton)
