Victoria’s Secret’s annual fashion show will feature live music from the Struts, plus a bevy of pop acts

The Struts have been tapped to perform at one of fashion’s biggest television specials: “The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Holiday Special.”

The 2018 edition of the show will also bring performances from pop artists Halsey, Bebe Rexha, the Chainsmokers, Shawn Mendes and Rita Ora. The show usually leans heavily on pop performers with little rock, so the Struts will bring an alternative edge to the festivities. The special will air Sunday, Dec. 2, at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.

In other news, the Struts are currently touring North America in support of their new album, “Young&Dangerous.” The first single off the album, “Body Talks,” is currently inside the top 15 on the BDS Alternative Radio Chart.

“We have poured our blood, sweat and tears into this album and I know you are all going to love it,” frontman Luke Spiller said of the new album in a statement. “This is dedicated to all of our amazing fans who have waited so long for this record. I hope these songs provide the perfect soundtrack to this crazy thing called life.”

“Young&Dangerous” marks the Struts’ sophomore album and their follow-up to 2016’s “Everybody Wants.” In just a few years, the guys have opened for Foo Fighters, the Rolling Stones, Guns N’ Roses and the Who. They also served as support for Mötley Crüe’s final performance in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve of 2015.

The Struts will hit The House of Blues in Anaheim, California, tonight and continue on their North American tour through a three-show run in Nashville in December.
