Rock news: Stone Sour performs rock song, “Hestiate,” on late night

The guys of Stone Sour are road warriors. Corey Taylor and the gang have been on the road since, “Audio Secrecy,” dropped in September of last year, and their latest jaunt is the Avalanche Tour 2011, with Skillet, Theory of a Deadman, Halestorm and Art of Dying. The tour stars March 24 in Chicago and wraps up May 8 in Jacksonville, Fla.

Stone Sour, the side project of Slipknot frontman Taylor, got together in the late-90s and released their debut self-titled album in 2002. Next came 2006’s, “Come What(ever) May,” which debuted at No. 4 on Billboard 200. “Audio Secrecy” debuted No. 6. 

Stone Sour recently stopped by, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” to to perform “Hesitate.” Here’s the clip:
