Rock News: Hard rock frontman Trent Reznor wins big
Nine Inch Nails fans, rejoyce. Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor and co-composer Atticus Ross took home the Academy Award for Best Original Score for, “The Social Network.”
“Is this really happening?” Reznor stuttered in his acceptance speech.
Reznor and Ross beat out Hans Zimmer and his work on the sci-fi hit, “Inception,” as well as scores for, “How To Train Your Dragon,” “The King’s Speech” and “127 Hours.” Reznor and Ross are currently working on the score for, “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo,” which reaches theaters in December.
