Fred Durst-discovered Puddle of Mudd have released their long-awaited cover of the Rolling Stones‘ ‘Gimme Shelter.’ The song comes from the group’s upcoming album of covers tunes, re(disc)overed, out Aug. 16 in the U.S. Hear the track via the player, below.
Additional tracks on the covers release include AC/DC‘s “TNT,” Elton John‘s “Rocket Man,” Free’s “All Right Now” and Stevie Nicks’ “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around.”
Puddle of Mudd’s tour itinerary for this fall include the 2011 Rock Allegiance Tour, which kicks off Aug. 24 in Dallas, alongside Buckcherry, Papa Roach, P.O.D., Red, Crossfade and Drive A.
