Cavo Debut Hard-Hitting New Single, ‘Thick as Thieves’ [Audio]
Rockers behind ‘Champagne’ ready new album on Eleven Seven Music
St. Louis-based hard rockers Cavo debuted their new single, the hard-hitting “Thick as Thieves,” Monday on their hometown alternative rock station, KPNT. Now, the dudes are offering a free download of the single on their official Facebook page, but today (Sept. 5) is the last day to pick up the free song. To download it, visit the “My Band” section Cavo’s Facebook page.
Cavo’s new, yet-untitled album is set to drop in February 2012 on Eleven Seven Music, the same label behind Buckcherry, Drowning Pool and Cold. The group’s last album, Bright Nights Dark Days, scored the guys a No. 1 active rock single in grungy anthem, “Champagne,” and they’re hoping to match that with, “Thick and Thieves.”
Fans can expect Cavo to tour non-stop to support the new album, and band members are no strangers to the road. Lead singer Casey Walker and company have toured with Daughtry, Shinedown and Lifehouse, as well as played headlining tours. The band loves playing out and sharing their music.
“The best thing about the journey of being in this band is getting to play our music. These songs are all snapshots of periods in our lives, and when you see people appreciate that, it’s the best feeling,” Walker told Audio Ink Radio last year. “When a person says, ‘Your song got me through the hardest part of my life,’ that means so much to the whole band.”
