Rocklahoma 2012 brings rock radio-friendly lineup

Memorial Day Weekend is set to rock and roar, as Rocklahoma has just announced the 2012 lineup for the annual three-day Memorial Day camp and rock festival, and it’s packed with radio-ready rock fans. Creed, Megadeth, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy, P.O.D., 10 Years and more are on the bill for the event, which takes place May 25 through 27 at “Catch the Fever” Festival Grounds in Pryor, Okla.

The full initial Rocklahoma lineup features Creed, Megadeth, Slash, Queensrÿche, Chevelle, Theory of a Deadman, Rob Zombie, Chickenfoot, Jackyl, Puddle of Mudd, Hellyeah, P.O.D., Volbeat, 10 Years, Cavo, Adelitas Way, Black Stone Cherry, Pop Evil, RED, the Darkness, Art of Dying, Trivium, Aranda, Redlight King, James Durbin, Janus, New Medicine, Rival Sons, Anti Mortem, Gypsy Pistoleros, Wildstreet, Firstryke, Black Tora, Sunset Riot, The Glitter Boys, Fist of Rage, Switchblade Scarlett and Krank, with more bands expected to be announced soon.

General Admission and VIP packages for the festival go on sale Friday, Feb, 24., starting at 10 a.m. CST at all Ticketmaster outlets and the official Rocklahoma website. An Internet pre-sale will be held from Wednesday, Feb. 22, staring at 10 a.m. CST through Thursday, Feb. 23, at 10 p.m. CST. Ticket prices will go up closer to the festival’s date, so if you’re set on going, you might want to get in before prices hike.
