Members of Disturbed, Bush, Theory of a Deadman and more celebrate St. Paddy’s Day on Twitter

Whether you’re Irish or not, St. Paddy’s Day is a time for friends to get together and pay tribute to the Irish traditions of leprechauns, good fellowship and, of course, that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Rock stars enjoy celebrating St. Paddy’s Day, too. In fact, a bunch of rockers went to Twitter today (March 17) to Tweet out their St. Paddy’s Day greetings. Check out a collection of Tweets, below.

Going down the list of rockers, Theory of a Deadman got interactive, Tweeting, “Happy st paddys day everyone send in your st Patrick’s days photos I’ll go first,” before sending out a photo of a festive, green shamrock tattoo. For Pearl Jam, it was a simple message: “Happy St. Patty’s Day from Pearl Jam.” Bret Michaels Tweeted a jolly, “Hope everyone has a safe and happy St. Patrick’s Day! Can’t wait to rock Whisky Rocks in Hunington, WV tonight for a St. Patrick’s bash!” Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale got in on the Twitter mayhem, too: “Happy st.patrick’s day. how you been? i’m a desert ninja..” Okay?

Metal players got into the spirit, too. Testament Tweeted, “Happy St. Patrick’s Day, everyone! Have fun and be safe!” Disturbed frontman David Draiman, a regular on Twitter, sent out this happy-go-lucky message: “HAPPY ST PATRICK’S DAY TO ALL THE IRISH, WANNA BE IRISH, AND IRISH… CHEERS.” Nonpoint Tweeted, “Since Robb is a quarter Irish he wanted to wish his fellow Irish people out there a Happy St Patricks day!!! Have a safe weekend!!!!” What did you do for St. Paddy’s Day this year?
