Staind to Unleash ‘Live from Mohegan Sun’ CD and DVD / Blue-ray
Aaron Lewis and Staind are set to release their first-ever live CD
There’s a first time for everything, and Aaron Lewis and his post-grunge rock band Staind have announced that they’ll release their first-ever live CD next month. The disc, called “Live from Mohegan Sun,” chronicles Staind’s live performance at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Montville, Conn., last November with plenty of hometown New England fans cheering them on. Aside from the CD, the guys will release the show on DVD and Blu-ray in August.
Looking at the track list for “Live from Mohegan Sun,” it’s obvious the performance encompasses every phase of Staind, from their late-‘90s hits to track off their 2011 self-titled album. Songs include “It’s Been Awhile,” “For You,” “So Far Away,” “Mudshovel,” “Eyes Wide Open,” “Failing,” “Fade,” “Outside,” “Something to Remind You,” “Right Here” and “Not Again,” to name a few.
“Live from Mohegan Sun” will arrive on CD in just a few weeks, on July 10, while the DVD and Blu-ray versions will drop on Aug. 14. Check out the full track list below.
Staind will head out on the road this summer as part of the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival alongside Shinedown, Papa Roach, P.O.D., Adelitas Way, Thousand Foot Krutch and more. Check out the full roster of dates here. (Courtesy photo via Atlantic Records.)
