Dates Announced for 2012 Uproar Festival Featuring Shinedown, Staind, P.O.D, Papa Roach and More
Full schedule for 2012 Uproar Festival revealed
The folks behind the third annual Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival tour announced the trek’s performers weeks ago, but that left fans waiting earnestly to hear when the tour will hit their respective cities. Now, the festival has announced its full, 30-show sprint which will run in August and September. Check out the dates below to learn when the high-octane rock show will reach your city.
As for performers, this year’s main stage players include some of rock radio’s biggest names: Shinedown, Staind, Papa Roach, Godsmack and Adelitas Way. The traveling caravan will also feature two side stages: the Ernie Ball Stage and the Jägermeister Stage. Those areas will offer entertainment from the likes of P.O.D., Thousand Foot Krutch, In This Moment, Fozzy, Redlight King, Candlelight Red, Deuce and Mindset Evolution.
P.O.D. are out supporting their upcoming full-length, “Murdered Love,” which reaches stores July 10. Frontman Sonny Sandoval recently spoke with Audio Ink Radio about the band’s new album and working with longtime producer Howard Benson. “We came up with Howard, so he knows how we work,” he said. “We got a hold of him before he became this big-time, superstar rock producer, so we have that old-school relationship where we can be honest. He lets us do what we want to do… We have a really cool relationship with Howard, and I know he’s really excited about this record.”
Tickets for most dates of the Uproar Festival go on sale Friday (June 15). For ticket details, visit www.RockstarUproar.com. (Shinedown photo credit: James Minchin III.)
