Stone Sour Announce ‘House of Gold & Bones Part 1’ Release Date
Corey Taylor-led Stone Sour will release their new album in October
New tracks from Corey Taylor-fronted rockers Stone Sour are on the way. The melodic rock band have announced that the first installment of their concept double album, “House of Gold & Bones Part 1,” will arrive on Oct. 23, just in time for Halloween. “House of Gold & Bones Part 2” is expected to hit stores sometime next year.
As for what to expect from the upcoming set, “House of Gold & Bones Part 1” will present 11 new songs, including “A Rumor of Skin,” “My Name is Allen,” “Gone Sovereign” and “Absolute Zero,” the latter two that are currently streaming online via the album’s official website, HouseOfGoldAndBones.com.
The guys of Stone Sour have some big tour plans in the works, and Taylor is ready for it. “It’s going to be awesome to bring the ‘House of Gold & Bones’ to the fans live. We gave people a taste of ‘Part 1,’ now we’re going to bring them the best Stone Sour show they’ve ever seen. Get ready: It begins soon…”
