Green Day Announce ¡UNO!, ¡DOS!, ¡TRE! Tour Dates
Green Day plot 2012/2013 tour in support of upcoming album trilogy
Now that Billie Joe Armstrong has healed up from a bout of dehydration, the guys of Green Day are ready to set off on a full-scale outing in support of their first of three upcoming albums, “¡Uno!” The pop-punk trio have announced the first leg of their ¡UNO!, ¡DOS!, ¡TRE! Tour, and it will set off Nov. 26 in Seattle, Wash., and plows through several smaller venues before closing out Dec. 10 in Tempe, Ariz.
Do the math, and you’ll figure out Green Day only have seven dates booked for the rest of 2012. But, the guys have smartly arranged an arena tour that will kick off next January. The 2013 tour will begin Jan. 7 in Green Bay, Wis., and continue through Feb. 8 in Las Vegas. Check out the full tour roster below.
Members of Green Day’s fan club, Idiot Club, will be able to purchase tickets starting Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time. Those who purchase their tickets online will score a digital download of “¡Uno!” for each ticket purchased. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning this Friday and Saturday (Sept. 14 and 15), depending on the location. As for what to expect, plan for tracks off the new albums, plus all the hits from “Welcome to Paradise” to “When I Come Around” to “Boulevard of Broken Dreams.”
