Exclusive: Asking Alexandria singer Danny Worsnop chats with Audio Ink Radio

The big kick-off for the 2012 Outbreak Tour is just about 10 days away, and the trek promises heavy performances from Asking Alexandria, Ask I Lay Dying, Suicide Silence, Memphis May Fire and Attila. For Asking Alexandria, the tour comes on the heels of the band recording their highly-anticipated new studio album, and frontman Danny Worsnop says recording session couldn’t be going better.

“It’s coming along well!” Worsnop exclusively told Audio Ink Radio about the recording process. “I’m in the studio right now, recording the second half. A few mountains need to be climbed recording the third album, but it’s coming along. I have no idea when it will be out, though! I guess it will be finished when it’s finished.”

The rest of 2012 will bring more recording sessions and, of course, the Outbreak Tour. Worsnop is looking at a busy few months, but when it comes to the singer’s chosen profession of music, he wouldn’t have it any other way.

When asked why he loves making music for a living, Worsnop replied, “Probably that I don’t have to work doing other stuff, because I couldn’t maintain another job! There’s zero chance I could keep another job! It’s nice to be creative all the time. Although I envy people who have a family and go home to it, since I don’t have that much at all. Sometimes I think about that. But I love what I do.” For more information on the 2012 Outbreak Tour, head to the trek’s official website. (Courtesy photo.)
