Blink-182 Reveal Name of Upcoming EP
Blink-182 have picked a title for their new EP
It was already official, but now it’s extra official: Blink-182 will release a new EP in December. The band has dropped the news that they the upcoming digital EP will arrive on Dec. 18, and the guys have named it “dogs eating dogs.” Yes, the title is all lower case, if you were wondering.
“We’re very excited about the “dogs eating dogs” EP,” bass player Mark Hoppus said in an official statement. “These songs didn’t even exist a few weeks ago, they were just ideas. And now they’re about to be released. Being independent, we have the freedom and ability to record and release new music when and how we want.”
As for what to expect from the release, drummer Travis Barker says the guys couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve drummed up for it. “This EP is a hundred times better than ‘Neighborhoods,’ because we’re all in a room together,” Barker told Rolling Stone earlier this month. “The rule is there’s no rules.”
Blink-182 will offer the release via three limited-edition gift packages, offering different levels of band merchandise: the “Nice” package, the “Naughty” package and the “Santa’s Lap” package. Fans may pre-order the “dogs eating dogs” package now via the band’s official website.
