Rockers are donating items to an eBay auction to benefit ailing tour bus drive Donny Silva

Several rockers are lending items to a special auction to benefit Donny Silva, a longtime tour-bus driver for many bands. Silva is suffering from stage-four colon cancer and needs funds for treatment. No Doubt, Ozzy Osbourne and Motley Crue are just a few of the musical groups who have offered up band items or concert packages to the eBay auction, which will help raise funds to pay for Silva’s medical expenses. Silva has no health insurance, so funds raised from the auction will certainly help his situation.

As for the items up for auction, No Doubt have donated a special tour poster autographed by all of the band members. Osbourne have offered an autographed photo and a set of Black Sabbath guitar picks. Motley Crue have donated a copy of their autobiography, “The Dirt: Confessions of the World’s Most Notorious Rock Band,” signed by each band member and author Neil Strauss. Other musicians getting in on the action include Heart, the Beach Boys and the Eagles.

The auction runs until December 6. For a full list of items up for auction and to bid, visit the auction’s eBay page.
