Phoenix Announce New 2013 Tour Dates Following Lollapalooza

Alternative rockers Phoenix extend their 2013 trek

Phoenix are already out on the road to promote their latest full-length, “Bankrupt!” and they have a gig at Lollapalooza in Chicago booked for Aug. 4 to round out their current tour. Now, the group has announced a new round of North American tour dates following the Lollapalooza gig.

The latest leg of Phoenix’s 2013 run will set off on Aug. 6 at the Omaha Music Hall in Omaha, Neb., and will travel through 11 cities including Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles and beyond before wrapping up Oct. 10 at the RIMAC in San Diego, Calif. The band is taking along an impressive list of openers, too, including Dinosaur Jr., the Vaccines and Icky Blossoms on select dates.
