Stone Temple Pilots Announce Festival Shows with Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington
Stone Temple Pilots have started to book some gigs with their new frontman, Chester Bennington
Stone Temple Pilots recently announced a new frontman, Linkin Park singer Chester Bennginton, and now, the band is starting to flesh out some live shows. The group has booked a couple of festival appearances with Bennington.
According to a post on their official website, the band will perform at the 2013 Rockwave Fest, which is set for Sept. 21 in Ft. Meyers, Fla., alongside bands such as Jane’s Addiction, Filter and Anberlin. Tickets for the festival will go on sale beginning at 10 a.m. ET on July 19 via Ticketmaster’s website.
Stone Temple Pilots are also booked to headline the upcoming Loud Park 13 festival, which also will feature King Diamond, Trivium, Behemoth, Bring Me the Horizon, Breaking Arrows, Last in Line and more. That show happens Oct. 19-20 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama City, Japan.
