Courtney Love gives fans an insight to what she does as she prepares a show

Hole frontman Courtney Love has posted a new video as part of MySpace’s video series, Five Minutes to the Stage, which gives music fans an inside look at what musicians do before hitting the stage for a concert.

In the video — taped right before her July 27 show at the City National Grove of Anaheim in Anaheim, Calif. — Love shows viewers a few pieces of her wardrobe for the night. She goes on to say that at this point in her long career, she doesn’t get nervous before hitting the stage. “I’ve been on stage for 20 years, [so there’s] not a lot to be nervous about,” she says in the video. “I’m in my 40s [and] I’m happy…with my age and who I am.”

In other Love news, the singer and guitarist is keeping busy with the writing and recording process for the follow-up to her 2004 debut solo release, “America’s Sweetheart.” When she’s not in the studio, Love is also writing a memoir. No word yet on when the new album or memoir will be released, but she is expected to release two new songs – Wedding Day” and “California” – in December.
