The Killers to Release Greatest Hits Package, ‘Direct Hits’
The Killers will unleash a special greatest hits collection in November
The Killers can now call themselves a greatest hits band. The Las Vegas-based alternative rockers have announced that they’ll unleash a collection of their best hits on Nov. 11. “Direct Hits” will offer 15 popular Killers songs, including the omnipresent singles “Somebody Told Me,” “Mr. Brightside,” “When You Were Young” and “Human.”
The upcoming greatest hits set will also pack to new tunes: “Just Another Girl” and “Shot at the Night,” the latter which was recorded Anthony Gonzales of M83. “Shot at the Night” is also currently available on iTunes. Find the full track listing below.
“Direct Hits” will arrive in both standard and deluxe editions, with the deluxe version offering three bonus tracks: the nostalgic demo of “Mr. Brightside,” the track “Be Still” off 2012’s “Battle Born” and a Calvin Harris remix of “When You Were Young.” In addition, a “Fan Deluxe Edition” of the set will also be available that packs the deluxe CD, a DVD documentary about the Killers’ career and five 10-inch vinyl records including all of the songs from the “Direct Hits” release.
