Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy will hit the road this December on a solo run

Alternative country guys Wilco are currently out on a fall tour, but after the trek wraps, Jeff Tweedy doesn’t plan to stay away from the road for long. Tweedy has announced that he’ll hit the road on a North American tour for a solo run this winter.

Tweedy’s tour will kick off Dec. 3 at the Uptown Theater in Kansas City, Mo., and travel through Denver, Salt Lake City, Seattle and Davis, Calif., before wrapping up with a four-night stay at Largo at the Coronet in Los Angeles. View the full tour roster below.

Pre-sale tickets for most of the tour dates will be available starting Wednesday (Sept. 11) at 10 a.m. local venue time. General public tickets will go on sale Friday (Sept. 13).

In other Wilco news, the band is slated to perform next month for two consecutive weekends at the Austin City Limits Festival. After those shows, it looks like the band will take some time off the road, as a press release states, “these will be the last Wilco shows for many months.”
