The Soundwave Festival is fleshing out its 2014 roster
Australia’s Soundwave Festival is always one of the year’s biggest music festivals, and organizers are getting closer to rounding out the festival’s 2014 lineup. A few additional acts have been confirmed to play next year’s Soundwave, Jimmy Eat World, Panic! At the Disco, Sevendust, A Day to Remember, Mastodon, the Dillinger Escape Plan and Black Veil Brides.
The new acts are part of an already meaty lineup for Soundwave, including headliners Green Day and Avenged Sevenfold, plus performances by Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington, AFI, Alter Bridge, Rob Zombie, Korn, Five Finger Death Punch, Alkaline Trio, Megadeth, Clutch, Trivium and August Burns Red, plus others.
The annual event, which happens all over Australia, kicks off on Feb. 22 in Brisbane and continues through a Feb. 23 show in Sydney, a Feb. 28 gig in Melbourne, a March 1 show in Adelaide and a March 3 gig in Perth.
