Young the Giant Announce 2014 Tour Dates
Alternative rockers Young the Giant will hit the road in 2014 for a lengthy tour
Young the Giant are going on tour next year, and we’re not talking a teeny trek. The alternative rock band has announced that they’ll hit the road in 2014 for a lengthy tour in support of their upcoming, sophomore studio album.
How lengthy is the trek? Well, the North American roster will kick off on Feb. 4 at The Majestic Ventura Theatre in Ventura, Calif., and travel through over 40 cities before wrapping up April 11 at the Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nev. The tour also includes a few two-night residencies in New York, Vancouver and Seattle.
Cayucas and Vance Joy will open for Young the Giant on select dates. Check out the full list of tour dates below.
Young the Giant’s self-titled debut album was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, thanks in no small part of the group’s catchy singles “My Body” and “Cough Syrup.” The Irvine, Calif.-based band has been holed up in the studio much of this year working on their follow-up, “Mind over Matter,” which will arrive on Jan. 21, 2014.
