Lollapalooza Performances to Stream Live Online

Fans can watch select Lollapalooza performances from their computers this summer

Tickets for this year’s Lollapalooza festival sold out right away, per usual, but the folks putting on the annual alternative music festival have made plans to stream select performances from the festival online. Expect more than 200 hours of live performances to be streamed in total, all of them available for free online.

This year’s Lollapalooza line features Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon, Lorde, Foster the People, Eminem, Outkast, Skrillex, Young the Giant, Spoon, Cage the Elephant, Chvrches, Broken Bells, Interpol, Portugal. the Man., the Head and the Heart, the Avett Brothers and more.

All in all, 130 acts will appear at Lollapalooza 2014, performing on several stages Aug. 1 through 3 at Chicago’s Grant Park. This year marks Lollapalooza’s 10th anniversary of when it first got its start as a destination festival in Chicago. Lollapalooza officially dates back to 1991, when Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Ferrell kicked off the show as a multi-date touring festival.
