Slipknot’s U.S. Knotfest to Feature Five Finger Death Punch, Volbeat and More
Slipknot’s second Knotfest will take place this fall in San Bernardino, Calif.
Slipknot’s heavy music festival Knotfest will return to the U.S. this fall. Back in 2012, Corey Taylor and Slipknot made a promise that the hard-hitting event would return, and now, the gang has officially announced the second Knotfest, set for October in San Bernardino, Calif.
Knotfest 2014 will feature three days of performances from more than 60 national metal and hard rock bands, including Slipknot, Five Finger Death Punch, Volbeat, Danzig, Black Label Society, Anthrax, Killswitch Engage, Tech N9ne, Of Mice & Men, Black Label Society, Testament, Hatebreed, Atreyu, In This Moment, and dozens more.
Slipknot fans will be happy to know the band will headline the festival on both Saturday and Sunday night, performing two completely different set lists and stage sets each evening. Everyone who purchases a ticket will also score a free digital copy of Slipknot’s upcoming, yet-to-be-titled album, to be delivered right when it’s released.
The festival will also offer camping. Campers and VIP ticket holders receive a free Friday night Knotfest show featuring Suicide Silence, the Black Dahlia Murder, Butcher Babies and more, as well as a Friday night VIP pre-party with music spun by Slipknot’s DJ Sid.
Knotfest is set for Oct. 24-26 at the San Manuel Amphitheater and Campgrounds in San Bernardino, Calif. For more information, visit the festival’s official website.
