Depeche Mode to Release Live CD/DVD, ‘Live in Berlin’
‘Depeche Mode Live in Berlin’ will feature footage from two of the band’s ‘Delta Machine Tour’ stops in Berlin
Depeche Mode embarked on the “Delta Machine Tour” last year and proceeded to sell out a string of shows. If you missed the tour, the guys have announced they will unleash a live CD/DVD called “Depeche Mode Live in Berlin,” documenting one of the biggest shows from that trek. The release, directed by Anton Corbijn, will arrive on Nov. 17 via Columbia Records.
“Depeche Mode Live in Berlin” features the band performing at the O2 World Berlin on Nov. 25 and 27, 2013. The setlist offers songs from Depeche Mode’s latest release, “Delta Machine, as well as the usual Depeche Mode hits. The full track listing is included below.
“Alive in Berlin is a record of Depeche Mode visiting Berlin for two concerts and the impact it has on fans following the band,” Corbijn said in a statement. “Berlin has a special place in the hearts of Depeche Mode. Likewise, Depeche Mode has a strong following in the German capital and the film tries to capture the highlights of these concerts as well as that special connection through interviews with fans and bands alike.”
In addition to the standard CD/DVD offering, Depeche Mode are also offering a deluxe version with a bonus DVD, “Alive in Berlin,” and a blu-ray CD mix of Depeche Mode’s latest album, called “Delta Machine 5.1.”
