Hinder Release New Song, ‘Hit the Ground’
Hinder have released a new song, ‘Hit the Ground,’ off their upcoming as-yet-untitled release
Hinder are back, and they have a new lead singer, to boot. The guys will release their fifth studio album in 2015, and it will mark their first with new lead vocalist Nolan Neal, who is stepping in for Austin Winkler, who left the group last year.
To get fans ready for the upcoming, as-yet-untitled album, Hinder have already released a new song, “Hit the Ground,” with Neal on pipes. The new song begins with an unassuming acoustic guitar and jets into a full-fledged rock number, with big riffs and a heavy chorus. The tune is currently streaming via Billboard.
“One thing that I’ve learned since we started this journey over 10 years ago is that nobody is invincible,” drummer Cody Hanson told Billboard. “(‘Hit the Ground’) is one of my favorite songs on the album because I know how true and real these lyrics are. We’ve lived and experienced every single line in this song. We can’t even begin to tell you how excited we are to share it with our fans and get this new chapter started.”
Hinder’s last album, “Welcome to the Freak Show,” arrived in 2012.
