P.O.D. and Insane Clown Posse Announce Fall 2015 Tour
Look out for a P.O.D. and Insane Clown Posse tour this fall
P.O.D. are joining forces with Insane Clown Posse for a fall 2015 North American tour. The pairing will kick off Oct. 3 at the Odeum Expo Center in Chicago and continue through a handful of venues before wrapping up Halloween night in Detroit.
Before they hit the road with Insane Clown Posse, P.O.D. will go on tour with Islander. Both bands are active with the Whosoevers, a Christian outreach organization co-founded by P.O.D. frontman Sonny Sandoval and public speaker, Ryan Ries.
“It started just as a simple idea, because I’m in a rock band and I’m in the real world, and I have a lot of friends and brothers who are in the real world, from enter from acting to athletes to other rock star guys, but they all want to live their life right,” Sandoval explained to Audio Ink Radio about the Whosoevers. “A lot of them are dealing with sobriety. A lot of them are changing their lives in general. This started as a brotherhood… It started as brotherhood of accountability, saying, ‘Just pray for me, man. That I don’t get caught up.’ It opened up doors for us to go into schools and rehabs and public places and share our stories, and that’s where it started, just sharing our stories.”
The P.O.D., Islander tour starts Sept. 8 in San Francisco.
P.O.D. are touring behind their just-released album, “The Awakening.”
