Violent Femmes Announce New Album, ‘We Can Do Anything’
‘We Can Do Anything’ will mark Violent Femmes’ first full-length studio album in 15 years
Violent Femmes recently reunited for various tours, but they hadn’t made plans to release a new full-length album—until now. The Milwaukee alternative acts has dropped the news that their new album, “We Can Do Anything,” will drop on March 4, 2016. The set will mark the band’s first studio album in more than 15 years.
This isn’t the first bit of new music from Violent Femmes since their reunion. The guys release a four-song EP called “Happy New Year” earlier this year. “We Can Do Anything” will mark the group’s first full-length studio set since 2000’s “Freak Magnet.”
Violent Femmes will also hit the road on a 2016 North American tour behind “We Can Do Anything.” The band will announce tour dates on their official website at www.vfemmes.com.
