Danny Wornsop Releases Solo Album Details and Reunites with Asking Alexandria
Danny Wornsop is back with Asking Alexandria
Danny Wornsop is a busy man right now. Not only is he coming up on the release of his debut solo album, “The Long Road Home,” but he also recently joined back up with his band mates in Asking Alexandria.
Wornsop’s new solo album will drop Feb. 17, and the debut single, “Mexico,” will debut Nov. 1.
“It has been an emotional roller-coaster creating these songs, but the end result has left me humbled, proud, and more excited about a project than I ever have been in my life,” Worsnop said in a statement. “Writing as deep and personal as I have on this record brought up a lot inside me…allowing me to grow and move on from demons I didn’t even acknowledge having.”
As for the Asking Alexandria news, Worsnop performed his first reunion show with Asking Alexandria Tuesday evening (Oct. 25) in Seattle. He left the band in early 2015, but he got back together with the gang earlier this month after their new vocalist, Denis Stoff, left. It appears new music is coming from Worsnop and Asking Alexandria, too. Matt Good from the band From First to Last tweeted some news that he’s “mixing an amazing new asking Alexandria song at the moment featuring the return of Danny, who absolutely crushed the vocals.”
