Alter Bridge Announce 2017 North American Tour Dates
Alter Bridge are taking ‘The Last Hero’ on the road for more dates
Alter Bridge have been on the road in support of their latest studio album, “The Last Hero,” that trend will continue in 2017. The Myles Kennedy-fronted hard rock band has announced a North American headlining tour for next year.
The new tour dates will take the guys through a bunch of indoor club venues, starting Jan. 21 in Mobile, Alabama, and continuing through a Feb. 22 show in Seattle. For information, head to AlterBridge.com.
Kennedy – who along with guitarist Mark Tremonti, bass player Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips – recently told Audio Ink Radio that the idea of a hero is “something that’s very important.”
“Humans just have that need to know that people play that role in society,” Kennedy said in the interview. “That was part of the catalyst for calling this record ‘The Last Hero’ and examining the hero dynamic. It also touches on the need for heroes and what we tend to do to our heroes and leaders and how we build them up and tear them down. There’s also a song called ‘You Will Be Remembered,’ which is a tribute to everyday heroes.”
